Charge Policy  
     
Elementary Statement:  Elementary students may charge a meal in an emergency through out the school year.  However, it is imperative that the student pay back the loaned money the following day.  Students that exceed the charge limit of 3 meals will be offered a bowl of cereal and a carton of milk at cost until the balance is paid in full.  
   
Secondary Statement:  We are compassionate with the fact that students may lose or forget their lunch money, but we do not have the funds to permit the charging of meals at the Middle or Senior High Schools.  We do offer the secondary students a bowl of cereal and a carton of milk at cost in the event they do not have any money or a balance on their account.

Check Policy
       

Payable to:  Please make checks for school meals payable to the Susquehanna Twp. School District (STSD) Food Services.

ReSubmitit:  By using a check for payment , you agree to the following terms:  In the event your check is dishonored or returned for any reason, you authorize us to electronically (or by paper draft) re-present the check to your bank account for collection of the amount of the check, plus any applicable fees as permitted by state law.  We use ReSubmitit (866-860-5906) to facilitate this process for our department.

   
      
Policy:  Upon receipt of a check returned for insufficient funds, the Food Service Director will notify the signer via registered or certified mail with a copy sent standard mail of their responsibility to make restitution.  The signer of the returned check will be given 15 days from the date of the registered or certified letter to make good on the amount of the check plus a $20.00 insufficient fund fee in cas, money order or a chashier's check t the Food Services Department.  Read more...
